      Over the course of the year I I have been able to do more than I I have ever imagined I could do in one school year at Mason.  Working in the LEAD Office has made my time here at Mason a fun experience of growing, self development and and professionalism .  I am very thankful for the opportunity to share my experiences and growth with all those who visit this site.  On this website I want to be able to share with you some of the insight and the knowledge I have gained throughout the year by working with LEAD and connecting with other offices, academic programs and staff.

As I go through my college years I realize that time is of the essence and I should make the most of it. The LEAD office has inspired me to empower myself and others to be the best person and leader I can be.  Everyone who steps foot in our office is transformed into something greater than themselves and has a love for all those who work and wish to grow within the office.  This year I have been able to work with some amazing peers that help me realize my potential impact I can make on the community and on campus; they inspire me to keep moving forward to achieving success while also helping other succeed.

Working in LEAD has helped me gain purpose and meaning in my life, and how to translate it into the work I want to do in the future.  They have given me the resources to succeed and have encouraged me ever step of the way.  This year I have also learned how much the time we have is very precious, and that I should spend it doing the things that make me happy, but can also create a positive ripple effect on those that surround me.  I am thankful for this year well spent, but the question that always remains is  “what will I do today and how it impact those around me?”
