“It occurs to me that our survival may depend upon our talking to one another.” -Dan Simmons
I have the capacity and passion for learning; it plays a major role in in development as a leader. This year I have been able to collaborate with many different people and offices to create different events on campus. It has allowed me to learn to depend on others and reach out for help when needed, I think that being able to collaborate with so many different organizations, offices, and people hast taught me the importance of community and shared responsibility. I have been able to gain so much more knowledge from working with others, than if I would have done it by myself because I am getting a different viewpoint of what I thought something could be.
As I learn more about the resources on campus I am able to think about how I can use those resources to better myself and the people that surround me, As I continue to network in my community and on campus my ability to draw on specific resources for events and future projects will come at ease. I use my ability to connect and network with others to create an inclusive environment for my peers and for my own specific uses as well. The knowledge continue to gain from the different resources helps me to excel as part of the Mason community.
